Our foreman and senior technicians are available to provide in-depth evaluations, technical discussions, and guidance regarding your vehicle’s needs. Any time spent consulting in person or by phone—including reviewing concerns, discussing options, or preparing recommendations—is considered billable labor.
Consultation time is billed in 15-minute increments at our standard consultation rate and is separate from any diagnostic or repair services.
All consultation charges will be included on your final invoice for the visit. This policy ensures our team can dedicate focused attention to each customer while maintaining efficient shop operations.
Due to increased costs and supply chain considerations, any individual part with a cost exceeding $500 requires pre-payment before ordering. Pre-payment ensures timely procurement and helps prevent delays in completing your repairs.
Once pre-payment is received, the part will be ordered immediately. This amount is non-refundable if you choose to cancel the repair after the part has been ordered. Pre-payment will be applied to your final invoice as a credit toward the total balance due.
PAYMENT TERMS: Invoices are due upon completion of service unless a credit account has been pre-approved in writing. Accepted payment methods include check, credit card, debit card, and ACH transfer.
INSUFFICIENT FUNDS: A $30 fee will be applied to any payment returned for insufficient funds.
LATE FEES: A 10% late fee (minimum $30) will be assessed on past due balances every 30 days until the balance is paid in full.
COLLECTIONS: Accounts over 60 days past due may be referred to a collections agency. A Final Notice will be issued prior to any collection action, which may impact your credit report.
PAYMENT PLANS: Customers experiencing financial hardship may request a payment plan. All payment plans must be approved in writing by our Accounts Receivable department prior to implementation.
VEHICLE STORAGE: Vehicles not picked up within 30 days of work completion will incur a storage fee of $150.00 per day starting on the 31st day, unless prior arrangements have been authorized in writing.
POLICY UPDATES: Apex Diesel reserves the right to modify these policies, fees, and terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be posted in our office and on our website.

Repairs and services at Apex Diesel are warrantied, but parts require the manufacturer to approve the warranty. In some cases, the manufacturer will provide reimbursement to offset labor expense to change the part that failed. If the part manufacturer doesn’t cover the labor expense, it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay the labor to change the part being warrantied. If the failure is due to our workmanship, Apex will warranty the parts and labor. Apex provides warranty for workmanship for 12 months or 25,000 miles from the repair date on your order, but parts warranty varies by manufacturer. This applies to vehicles used under normal conditions and properly maintained. Coverage is limited to the original repair cost.
If a defect arises within the warranty period, Apex Diesel will, at our discretion:
Warranty services are available exclusively at the Apex Diesel location where the original repairs were performed. No reimbursement will be provided for services completed elsewhere. While we’re happy to offer phone or email support to you or another repair facility, Apex Diesel retains the first right of refusal for all warranty repairs.
