billing and collection policy

PAYMENT TERMS: Invoices due upon service completion, unless a credit account is pre-approved. Payment can be made via Check, Debit Card, or ACH. Credit Applications found at the bottom of this webpage.

LATE FEES: A 10% late fee (min. $30) will be applied for overdue payments, assessed every 30 days until the balance is paid.

SUSPENSION OF SERVICE: Accounts 30 days past due will result in suspension of additional services. A Suspension Notice will be sent with instructions to restore services.

COLLECTIONS: Accounts 60 days past due will be sent to collections, with a Final Notice and potential credit report impact.

VEHICLE PICKUP: Any vehicle not picked up and removed from the property within 30 days of work completion will incur a charge of $150.00 per day, starting from the completion date, unless prior arrangements have been authorized.

Warranty Coverage

Repairs and services at Apex Diesel are warrantied, but parts require the manufacturer to approve the warranty. In some cases, the manufacturer will provide reimbursement to offset labor expense to change the part that failed. If the part manufacturer doesn’t cover the labor expense, it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay the labor to change the part being warrantied. If the failure is due to our workmanship, Apex will warranty the parts and labor. Apex provides warranty for workmanship for 12 months or 25,000 miles from the repair date on your order, but parts warranty varies by manufacturer. This applies to vehicles used under normal conditions and properly maintained. Coverage is limited to the original repair cost.

If a defect arises within the warranty period, Apex Diesel will, at our discretion:

Perform remedial repairs at no charge, or
Replace defective parts at no charge, or
Refund the original repair cost, less than any previous refunds.

Obtaining Warranty Service

Warranty services are available exclusively at the Apex Diesel location where the original repairs were performed. No reimbursement will be provided for services completed elsewhere. While we’re happy to offer phone or email support to you or another repair facility, Apex Diesel retains the first right of refusal for all warranty repairs.

How to Request Warranty Service

Contact our service manager to schedule an inspection and diagnosis. Warranty repairs must follow our normal scheduling practices.
Provide proof of required vehicle maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer since the original repair. For repairs or installations requiring a break-in procedure, proof of compliance is required.

Important Notes

No issue will be deemed warrantable until it has been inspected and diagnosed by Apex Diesel.
Failure to provide proof of maintenance or comply with break-in procedures will void the warranty.
All warranties are non-transferrable.
